About me

My name is Katarzyna Dębowska. In 2007 I obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology with a clinical specialisation at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. My interest in psychology began relatively early. My studies allowed me to explore development, emotions, functioning and a wide range of mental health difficulties. After coming to the United Kingdom I devoted my time and energy to my family. Although my professional activity was set aside for a while, psychology remained my passion. Whenever I could, I spent my free time studying and doing voluntary work. In 2013 I obtained a Certificate in Counselling Skills, and in 2015 a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I have run my own therapeutic practice for years, and since 2019 I have also worked with the Petal Support organisation in Glasgow.
